The apartments look great, the common areas to include the pool and gym are and well maintained. Neighbors are friendly. However these apartments are overpriced for the area. Staff is not cooperative and often deceptive. Kennedy Flats is in the middle of the ghetto. There is a addiction clinic near by and the bus stop outside of the property is full of recovering addicts. This area frequently has the pungent aroma urine. The police are often at this location. There are often community warnings due to thefts to personal vehicles , despite having a security guard walking the perimeter. Water at my apt in Kennedy flats was brown and undrinkable on multiple occasions. This was disclosed after I decided to terminate my lease instead of before. Renter beware.
This is the 6th apartment I've rented and the 5th that I've been in that has been managed by a large company and it is by far the best place I've lived so far.Kennedy Flats, both before and after the acquisition by Greystar, has been an incredible place to live. The apartments are new so everything works, and even when there are issues they respond immediately and without question, taking care of whatever you need. The office is always willing to work with you to make sure your time here is perfect. Everyone in the office is great.They are a very active company that provides very frequent events for residents at no cost (at least a couple times a month usually) like BBQs, football gatherings, social mixers, etc.On top of that, they manage the property well. The grounds are kept clean and they even have a service that can identify who didn't clean up after their pet. They stay on top of the rules (clean up after animal, no smoking areas, etc) in a way that feels effective without overbearing. Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
I stayed there for 9 months and i really liked my stay there. Pretty nice and clean community. I loved the Gym and recreation area. Lauren is a really good manager. This place is highly recommended.
Terrific modern apartments in a historic downtown setting. Close to Metro-North train station and I-84. Beautiful common spaces and amenities.
Really nice experience overall. I really like the organized activities in the lounge and the package concierge system. I also love the amenities the lease offers, the gym is always clean and has everything you need for a serious training, and the lounge is impressive. The only thing to improve is the sound isolation on walls and ceiling, I can hear the people in the hallway, upstairs and outside.
