Very efficient and courteous. Professionally treated.

This place is a scam. They refuse to provide services unless you follow their recommendations for things like "special cleanings" that aren't covered by insurance.

This place is horrible! I just spent an hour and a half there and didn't even get my teeth cleaned. I was told I have 2 cavities (which I am willing to pay my out of pocket cost for) but was also told they "recommend a deep cleaning", which was going to cost my insurance $1200 and me $1100. When I said I just wanted a regular cleaning that my plan covers, they responded that they cannot do anything less than what is recommended by the hygienist. They are a scam! A huge scam!! It is so convenient that they recommend procedures that cost thousands of dollars for me and my insurance company and refuse services that my plan pays for. I work in the medical field and feel bad for the good doctors who work there. Your protocols and office management are horrendous.

We just returned from Aspen Dental in Danbury, CT. and needless to say extremely upset. One of my lower teeth split straight down the middle and along with the discomfort I am due for surgery, so the tooth has to come out. I stopped by and made an appointment for in the afternoon to have it pulled. Well, we went back and 2 hours later I left and still have my broken tooth in place. Almost everyone was very nice and Dr. Pinkos was great at explaining what needed to be done in my mouth. EVERYTHING. Right now I just wanted the tooth pulled and was assured it would be. Dr. Pinkos had a great and reasonable remedy for what needed to be done in the future. Heather Wiley (office manager), must be on commission and was the exception to (almost everyone) listed above. Heather checked with our insurance and after presenting us with a $9,000. estimate, my wife told her we would have to wait and check our budget. My wife said we just want to pull the tooth today. Heather then told us they would not be able to pull it. Are you kidding me!!! 2 hours we went through their agenda and told yes, they would pull the tooth. My wife knew she was going to deny us based on not signing a contract and then my wife lost it on her. It takes a lot to get her that angry. Unfortunately it is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Very sad that this one person, Heather Wiley is like the rotten apple that spoiled the rest in the barrel. I would have gone back for the rest of the treatments, but now I won't go back to Aspen Dental.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work I had done at this office. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and at ease. I had a bridge done approximately 15 years ago which spanned my front 3 teeth. Over the years, the gums had receded leaving the metal and cement underneath visible. This started to effect my self image and I found I was smiling less in photographs. I was hesitant about having the bridge replaced, as I had lingering fears from the lack of quality from the temporary bridge I had done years back. Dr. Pinkos and his team work together like a well oiled machine. From dealings with the receptionists, to the dental assistants, and hygenists it was apparent that I was in more than capable hands. My bridge preparation was quick and painless, and this is where it became evident I was being cared for by someone who isn't just "good" at their job, but rather an individual who displayed consummate skill in his craft. Dr. Pinko's meticulousness work and diligence shined after he finished creating the interim bridge that would be in place while the permanent bridge was manufactured. Dr. Pinkos essentially sculpted this bridge leaving me wondering if he minored in the fine arts. During the procedure all I heard was laughter echoing throughout the office which I found reassuring knowing I'm in a setting with people who enjoy their jobs and, each other. I went back to have my permanent bridge put in the other day and could not be more impressed and happy with it. I have no issues and reservations about smiling in pictures or public and I owe it to the team at Danbury Aspen. Thank you to all of the team there. Your hard work, and dedication to excellence is more appreciated than you know.
