I have been going to Marketplace for years now. Have always loved the service and food there. However my last two visits were not good. I went today for lunch. Restaurant was empty. Our appetizer and drinks were good. Entrees took forever to get to us, along with my second drink. The food was very bland and mediocre. Disappointing for my once favorite place to go on Danbury.
Highly recommend this restaurant. I asked about having my company holiday party there and the manager Matt, was more than accommodating. My staff arrived to see our logo on the menu. My staff loved that little detail along with the food. Everything was delicious with an even better presentation. After the dinner I went to the bar and the bartender Jen was great in serving me drinks all while being very friendly. Service was again quick and good. I'll be back and I suggest anyone to stop in and give them a try. You won't regret it.
I stopped in for an early dinner with my friend who I haven't seen in a few months. Everything was delicious, excellent service, the manager was helping out & everyone seemed to truly care. There was also live music and she was amazing! I wish I caught her name.
Friendly bartender and great recommendations on what to eat as a first time diner. Bar area had a nice ambiance and a very enjoyable dinner experience. Must try the swordfish kebab appetizer, it is amazing. Nice and light appetizer to start the dining experience. Steak tip gnocchi pasta main dish was delicious as well. I left very full and satisfied.
Delicious food, excellent staff and charming ambience. The array of menu items for those who are vegan or gluten free was impressive. We have already recommended this restaurant to family who pass through the area and look forward to returning next time we are in town.
