Hat City Ale House is a great pub/bar, it isn't your typical rowdy bar or dive bar, the evening that we stopped in, there was a nice mix of men and women, there is a dress code, men must wear collared shirts, I'm surecthat this will keep some of the "riff raff" out.Hat City Ale House is a cigar bar, but don't worry, the ventilation is phenomenal, you'd never know that customers are smoking in the bar. There's a humidor stocked with a nice selection of premium cigars (let's not forget that Hat City Ale House is owned by Kevin Paige, who also owns Buttheads Tobacco Emporium) and a great selection of beer on tap, 18 taps if I'm not mistaken, and they can make virtually any cocktail that you can ask for!There's a limited menu at this point if you're in the mood to snack, but I'm sure that the menu will increase once the official grand opening happens. The pricing is unreal, I had to look at my receipt twice, I was prepared to spend double of what we paid!The seating is very comfortable. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
